On Monday May 13th we are launching a new book club for CAGJ supporters and members of the public! We will focus on themes related to our work and campaigns, including corporate control, destructive philanthropy, and people’s movements in resistance. CAGJ members will facilitate the discussions.

WHAT: The first Book Club meeting will discuss The Bill Gates Problem: Reckoning with the Myth of the Good Billionaire, by Tim Schwab. Order from Powell’s (or at your favorite local independent bookstore or library). See future reads below.

🌟Everyone is welcome to participate even if you have not read the whole book.🌟

WHERE: All gatherings will be offered in a hybrid format – both via Zoom and in person in Seattle. Registration is required to receive the Zoom link and Seattle meeting location: Register today!

WHEN: 2nd Monday of every month, 6:30 – 7:45PM PST

As we are meeting around dinnertime, feel free to bring something to eat for yourself or to share with others (if attending in person). CAGJ will provide some light snacks. If attending by Zoom, please feel free to eat your dinner either off or on-screen, whatever you’re more comfortable with!
