May 7 & 8: GiveBIG to CAGJ!

Greetings CAGJ Community!

It’s that time of the year: CAGJ’s Membership Month! We are so excited to share our beautiful 2023 Annual Report with you! Some of you are getting back out to your gardens to plant seeds for vegetables and flowers that will feed you and your families joy and sustenance. Similarly, your donations to CAGJ plant the seeds for our future food sovereignty organizing.

#GiveBIG to CAGJ May 7th & 8th: Now is  GREAT time to become a Member or renew!

  • Help us earn 10K MATCHING GRANT! Every donation in May will be MATCHED, thanks to UFCW 3000 & generous donors. Donate today!
  • Get your SWAG! We have NEW TSHIRTS! Everyone who donates $200 or more, or becomes a monthly sustainer at $20/month or more gets a Tshirt – your choice between cream and pink.
  • New Members Raffle! Everyone who donates OR fills out CAGJ’s membership card for the first time will get entered into a raffle to win one of our NEW Food Justice Tshirts (you choose – pink or cream), a poster or our apron.

Members – donors, volunteers, supporters – are the driving force of CAGJ. Your donations are particularly important, as they help to keep CAGJ fiercely independent and outspoken. We can do and say things that others cannot, particularly in our struggle to oppose the Gates Foundation’s role in philanthrocapitalism, which is undermining our democracy, and Africa’s food and seed sovereignty.

Our members are keeping CAGJ going! While we are facing challenging and uncertain times, we are resilient, and continue to benefit from our community’s generous support.

In 2024 we are continuing our solidarity actions with WA Farmworkers, Foodworkers and Tribal fishermen, as well as African food sovereignty movement partners.  There are many ways to get involved; please contact us to get plugged in – we could use your volunteer power!
