We recently published a full report on the Africa-US Food Sovereignty Strategy Summit which we hosted October 12-14, 2014. The report describes the current and historical context of both US and African agriculture, as participants shared in the meeting. It also includes pieces of original research conducted by AGRA Watch on the Gates Foundation’s agricultural development grants, as well as a summary of the next steps participants are undertaking to form a stronger relationship in contesting agro-industrial intervention into Africa.
