Join us for a night of good food and good activism to celebrate our collective movement for food sovereignty, celebrated in CAGJ’s 2nd publication, Our Food, Our Right: Recipes for Food Justice. Every year on April 17, La Via Campesina marks the International Day of Peasant’s Struggle. In honor of their call for a global day of action in defense of peasants’ and farmers’ seeds, we invite you to bring seeds to exchange!

*Participate in a seed exchange– bring seeds to share!
*Come to learn about CAGJ’s book and to hear from contributors, who will read from chapters about African food sovereignty and Trade Justice struggles.
*Enjoy a cooking demonstration by CAGJ chef Travis English, and a sampling of recipes from the book!

Help us publicize – please forward widely and invite your Facebook friends! For more information, email CAGJ’s Publicity Intern Lauren at [email protected] or call 206.405.4600.
