CAGJ is kicking off 2014 with a Community Meeting to discuss and share all of our upcoming work. This year promises to be a busy year–from our ongoing work in solidarity with Sakuma Brothers farmworkers, to our struggle against the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP), to our upcoming AGRA Watch Summit.
The Community Meeting will be an important opportunity to learn about our plans for the year and hear about opportunities to plug in through volunteering, interning, or other organizing opportunities. While we will give an overview of CAGJ’s 3 main areas of organizing, we will highlight our AGRA Watch campaign’s work to pressure the Gates Foundation to support agroecological farming in Africa.
