Maya Wiley on Food and Racial Justice

On November 19, 2008, Maya Wiley spoke at the Politics of Food: A Conference on New York’s Next Policy Challenge. Maya spoke on the relationship between our food system – from the farm to the cash register – and racial disparities in the US, and how a race-conscious effort to reform how we feed the country would produce better health and environmental outcomes for all.
